Community Education Classes

I teach a series of classes in two different local high school district adult enrichment programs. These classes have included "What is Facebook?" "What is Twitter?" and "Getting the Most of Your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad." To see what I'm currently teaching, click on either logo below and search through the computer or technology class offerings.

Boot Camp for New Dads

Boot Camp for New Dads is an innovative approach to fatherhood education, the cornerstone of which is avoiding lecture in favor of real-life experience sharing and real-time modeling by having veteran dads bring their 0-6 month old infants with them to the course to share their stories and babies with the 'rookie' dads who are about to be fathers for the first time. BCND provides men the chance to hear from other men about a variety of fatherhood readiness topics as well as get some actual hands on experience with real babies (not just dolls as in other childbirth education classes).

I facilitate a Boot Camp at a local hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Click here to register online (scroll down to find the childbirth section of classes, then scan for "Boot Camp for New Dads") or call 1.800.3.ADVOCATE (1-800-323-8622) Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm.

Promotional Videos

HealthReach Inc.

The third largest free medical care provider in Illinois, HealthReach Inc. contracted me to create some promotional videos for them. Here's the first, a photo montage of the various services they provide:

Here's the second, a comprehensive interview-based video describing all the ways HealthReach makes the community better:

Waukegan To College

This excellent college preparedness and mentoring program asked me to help them with some promotional work as well. Here's the initial photographic montage video that provides a nice overview of W2C's program:
