New Design Done
So what do you think? I think it’s pretty. And far more user-friendly and functional. While I still have some tweaks I’d like to make, the basic structure is good and content is all right. Soon, more will be happening with the other sites and content will actually be coming. So, to explain what I’ve been doing with my time, here’s a quick run-down of CMR these last couple weeks.
Soul Play News:
Terry and I collaborated, very successfully in my not so humble opinion, on two parish missions. We sold the booklet version of the mission as well as recorded both audio and video for CD and DVD productions (which we also pre-sold through order forms at both the parishes). Thus, I’ve been moving footage from tape to computer and have begun the editing process. I expect the next three weeks to be taken up mostly with editing those two projects. The upshot will be four new product masters that we can duplicate and then sell in the future!
Memindia News:
While I’m still struggling to decide exactly which website look I like best, development on this project continues. I have finalized the template for the Memindia pdf download as well as begun writing the free samples that will be always available on the website. I’m realistically thinking that the weekly delivery of subscription content will launch very early in April.
Brain Unclenching News:
What is Brain Unclenching you might ask? It’s a domain that I’ve had for a while that I’ve been trying to decide how to use. I’ve decided that a weekly netcast (audio to begin) describing my challenges, struggles, and joys as a Catholic stay-at-home dad and entrepreneur balancing laundry, dishes, and toddlers on one hand with product development, emerging partnerships, and lack of income on the other might be worthwhile enough to merit attention and the CMR name. I hope to launch it before the end of March.
Conclusion:
Thus, I’m living in a seriously scary, exciting, anxious, joyous, and ultimately (I hope) grace-filled time in my life. I hope you’ll join me for the ride. Thanks for reading.
